SinOBS-BB Broad Band Submarine Seismometer (passive source)
Recording seismic signals of large-scale natural earthquakes, capable of continuous operation for one year
Product details
Product introduction
Recording seismic signals of large-scale natural earthquakes, capable of continuous operation for one year. Mainly used for the following research: lithosphere and asthenosphere structure, mantle dynamics, deep earth structure, source physics; Slow sliding, noise research, sub gravity waves, and tsunamis. Compared to short period seafloor seismometers, the SinOBS-BB broadband seafloor seismometer needs to be strengthened in the following aspects: low noise in the vertical channel, higher precision time system, large range recording (without shear waves), and longer working time.
Basic parameters:
Recording time: 12 months (sampling rate 100 sps), up to 24 months with additional battery packs.
Working depth: (1) 1000m configuration (2) 6000m configuration - standard configuration.
Strong seismometer: The strong seismometer can be used instead of the conventional seismometer, and the signal obtained by the seismic source attachment M8 is not cut wave.
Absolute manometer: Replacing hydrophones for geodesy, tsunami research and surface wave correction; 0-10000psia, bandwidth 1Hz-DC;
Differential pressure gauge: instead of hydrophone, used for surface wave correction; Alternative to absolute presses, low cost option, limited use.
Clock accuracy: 5ppb
Recovery methods:
(1) acoustic command release;
(2) timed automatic release;
(3) automatic fresh water release capacity;
(4) Rising speed of 45-60m/min.
Data format: Binary, MiniSeed, ASCI, SAC
Seismometer Type:
Broad Band seismometer:
(1) Three-component low-noise seismometer, self-leveling;
(2) Band width: 60 sec-50 Hz(optional);
(3) Sensitivity: 2000V/(m/sec);
(4) Noise level: 35.6nm/sec;
(5) Dynamic range: 123.5 dB;
(6) Weight: 2.45kg;
(7) It can obtain an earthquake of M5.5 within a range of 50km.
Data logger:
(1) At least 4 channels: 3 channels broadband seismograph (can be replaced by strong seismograph) and 1 channel hydrophone (can be replaced by APG or DPG); Scalable to 9 channels;
(2) Anti-aliasing FIR filter;
(3) Sampling rate: 1, 10, 20, 40, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500, 1000Hz;
(4)A/D conversion: 24Bit;
(5) Sampling rate setting of each channel;
(6) The dynamic range and noise level of the data logger cannot limit the sensor performance;
(7) Collection mode: continuous collection, trigger collection and time window collection;
(8) Scalable time synchronization that can be synchronized to other data loggers/systems.
