PAM Recorder is a broadband ocean acoustic recorder that supports up to 5 hydrophone channels for synchronous input, and can be configured with a maximum sampling rate of 384 kHz for all 5 channels. Used for real-time capture, recording, and processing of the richest underwater datasets. PAM Recorder is easy to configure, deploy, and use, and can be applied to almost all underwater acoustic measurement scenarios, such as underwater noise characteristics, marine mammal research, underwater noise detection and localization.
PAM Recorder data can be autonomously recorded and processed, as well as transmitted in real-time via Ethernet. For example, when PAM Recorder is deployed underwater, it can autonomously process sound pressure level (SPL) data, and all raw and processed data can be transmitted to the outside through Ethernet or stored on 4 TB internal solid-state drives (SD and SSD). PAM Recorder comes in various sizes and configurations, some suitable for long-term deployments lasting months or years, while others are suitable for repeated deployments lasting days or weeks.
